President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has signed Decree No. 301 "On Innovative Projects". This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Head of State.
The document approves additions and amendments to the State Programme for Innovative Development of Belarus for 2016-2020. The Decree adjusts the list of projects for the creation of new production facilities of crucial importance for the innovative development of the country. 21 new projects have been included in this list. The list of measures for the development of Belarus's innovation infrastructure is also supplemented.
The use of funds from innovation funds is approved for financing nine projects of organisations located in the regions, for example, open joint-stock companies "Borisov Plant "Avtogidrousilitel", "Krasny Pishchevik", "Orsha Tool Plant", "Baranovichi Machine Tool Accessories Plant".
"The adoption of the decree will contribute to the development of innovative activities in industries and regions, and will allow for the allocation of necessary resources for the creation of high-tech production facilities and the development of innovation infrastructure entities," the press service emphasised.
