According to the Rules of Hunting and Game Management, from the second Saturday of March to the second Sunday of May, during daylight hours, except for the period from 11:00 to 18:00, shotgun hunting from ambush is permitted only from a hide on the following species: White-fronted Goose, Bean Goose, Greylag Goose, and Canada Goose.

The State Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora informs:

According to the Rules of Hunting and Game Management, from the second Saturday of March to the second Sunday of May, during daylight hours, except for the period from 11:00 to 18:00, shotgun hunting from ambush is permitted only from a hide on the White-fronted Goose, Bean Goose, Greylag Goose, and Canada Goose. Smoothbore hunting weapons using cartridges loaded with shot are allowed; for tracking and retrieving downed game, hunting dogs of the following breeds are permitted: terriers, dachshunds, pointers, spaniels, retrievers, and water dogs.

The total duration of the spring goose hunting season cannot exceed four weeks (28 calendar days). The specific dates for the spring goose hunting season within the specified range are established by order or other decision of the hunting ground users before the start of the hunting season.
