In accordance with the Rules for Hunting Management and Hunting approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of December 8, 2005 No. 580, as amended by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 551 of December 5, 2013 "On Amendments and Additions to Decrees of the President of the Republic of Belarus of December 8, 2005 No. 580 and April 26, 2010 No. 200"
The State Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora informs:
In accordance with the Rules for Hunting Management and Hunting approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of December 8, 2005 No. 580, as amended by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 551 of December 5, 2013 "On Amendments and Additions to Decrees of the President of the Republic of Belarus of December 8, 2005 No. 580 and April 26, 2010 No. 200"
If a hunter discovers a game animal of regulated species or a wild animal belonging to a species listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Belarus in a trap or other device set by them, the hunter, without removing the animal from the trap or device, must inform an official of the hunting grounds user thereof.
An act shall be drawn up by the hunting grounds user, with the participation of representatives of the organisation of the Ministry of Forestry, and (or) the territorial body of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, and (or) the territorial body of the State Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora under the President of the Republic of Belarus, concerning the accidental taking of wild animals of regulated species or a wild animal belonging to a species listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Belarus. The taken animal shall be the property of the hunting grounds user.
