State registration and accounting of transport have become simpler

Andrei Harkusha, First Deputy Head of the Main Traffic Police Department of the Public Security Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, elaborated on the new requirements.

One of the main innovations concerns the procedure for vehicle inspection. Now, you can apply to any registration unit of the State Automobile Inspectorate for this purpose.

Another innovation is designed to save time for the owners of organizations and enterprises. Henceforth, legal entities are relieved of the obligation to submit data on registered vehicles to the military commissariat.

A further innovation will be of interest to citizens who have registered vehicles in Belarus that were previously deregistered in the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union. The need to send inquiries to the place of issuance of registration documents has now been eliminated.

The procedure for registering vehicles belonging to persons under 14 years of age or between 14 and 18 years of age has been brought into compliance with the requirements of the Civil Code.

The procedure for the state registration of vehicles manufactured as a result of individual creativity has been determined. Most often, this refers to motorcycles.
