This was stated today to journalists by the Chairman of the House of Representatives, Vladimir Andreichenko, at the Begomlsky boarding school for orphans and children left without parental care, which he visited during the republican charity event "Our Children", a BELTA correspondent reports. Vladimir Andreichenko noted that any state has its problems, but in Belarus, the care for the younger generation has always been a priority, despite everything. "The state spares neither effort nor resources to ensure that children grow up healthy, happy, and intelligent. Many programs are being implemented, including those to support children who have found themselves in difficult life situations," said the Chairman of the House of Representatives. Vladimir Andreichenko recalled that the Belarusian parliament recently adopted a bill on state benefits for families raising children. The document provides for a change in the mechanism for calculating monthly benefits for childcare for children under three years of age and differentiation depending on the birth order. It is estimated that in Belarus, from January 2013, the amount of childcare benefits for children under three years of age will almost double. Speaking about the significance of the "Our Children" campaign, Vladimir Andreichenko emphasized: "The fact that top officials visit orphanages and children's hospitals is a brand of Belarus." The Chairman of the House of Representatives warmly congratulated the pupils and staff of the Begomlsky boarding school on the upcoming New Year.
