On July 16, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The Grand Prix of the XXI International Pop Song Performers Contest "Vitebsk-2012" went to Macedonia. Boban Mojsoski won the victory, reports the BELTA correspondent from the award ceremony for the laureates and diploma winners of the contest. Boban Mojsoski was awarded the Grand Prix of $15,000, the special prize "Lyra", and a diploma of the Grand Prix winner of the XXI International Pop Song Performers Contest "Vitebsk-2012". The first prize was awarded by the jury, chaired by People's Artist of Russia, composer Maxim Dunaevsky, to Samanta Tina from Latvia. She received $9,000, the special prize "Lyra", and a laureate diploma (winner of the I prize). Ukraine received a wonderful gift for its national day at the "Slavianski Bazaar" festival, which is taking place today. Its representative, Halina Konakh, won the second prize of $6,000, received the special prize "Lyra", and a laureate diploma (winner of the II prize). The jury decided to split the third prize of $3,000 and awarded it to Federica Marinari from Italy and Slavina Kalkandzhieva from Bulgaria. The girls were also presented with special "Lyra" prizes and laureate diplomas of the contest - winners of the III prize. The special prize named after Vladimir Muliavin for the best embodiment of the national theme and high performing skill was awarded to Luselia Roldan from Cuba. She was liked by the audience, and the song "Vasilkavaye neba" performed by her on the second day of the competition touched even the strict jury chairman Maxim Dunaevsky. He gave her the highest score - 10. The special prizes of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia were awarded to the performer from the Republic of Belarus Evgeny Slavich and the performer from the Russian Federation Anastasia Kozlova. Throughout the history of international pop song performers contests after the collapse of Yugoslavia, a representative of Macedonia received the Grand Prix once - in 2000. Then Todor Proevski became the winner. However, Macedonians have become diploma winners four times. This year, 20 performers from 20 countries took part in the contest. -0-
