On July 15, Vitebsk /Alexander Sam - BELTA/. State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota advocates for a radical solution to the issue of Union property. He stated this today at a press conference in Vitebsk, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"The problem is indeed protracted and difficult to solve. There are drafts of 10 decisions that need to be signed and adopted. Two agreements have already been adopted, the third will be considered at a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State," said the State Secretary. "Something radical needs to be done here, because we can drag out this process for the next 10 years and solve nothing," he believes.
"It seems to me: either we do something, or we don't do it and say that we won't do it either. But dragging it out for years like this..." he commented.
Grigory Rapota announced that he has ideas for a radical solution to the problem with Union property, which he intends to present to the public after the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State in Minsk. "We need to solve it, and faster, because everyone is tired of this topic," said the State Secretary.
The Union State annually invested financial resources in the implementation of various projects, resulting in the formation of Union property, however, the issues of the register of Union property, the procedure for its recognition, and the costs of its maintenance have not been resolved. -0-
