The civic-patriotic forum "In Unity is Our Strength" was held at VSU named after P.M. Masherov.

The civic and patriotic forum "In Unity is Our Strength", dedicated to the Day of National Unity and organised by the Vitebsk Regional Branch of the Belarusian Party "Belaya Rus", is taking place at VSU named after P. Masherov.

The forum was attended by members of the Presidium of the Supreme Political Council of the Belarusian Party "Belaya Rus", the Aide to the President of the Republic of Belarus – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region, Igor Brylo, and the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Vyacheslav Durnov, as well as chairmen and members of district organisational structures and the Vitebsk Regional Branch of the Belarusian Party "Belaya Rus".

– We are on the eve of a national holiday – the Day of National Unity, which will be celebrated on Sunday in absolutely all corners of our country, – noted Igor Brylo, member of the Presidium of the Supreme Political Council of the Belarusian Party "Belaya Rus", Aide to the President of the Republic of Belarus – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region. – Festive events will be held everywhere – not only in Minsk but also in all regions of our country. I am deeply convinced that our still relatively young holiday will gain good momentum in a short period, and we will truly be able to demonstrate the national unity that we perhaps lacked a little a few years ago. But we have time and experience, which we must use. I sincerely want to congratulate all party members on such a great holiday. We are together, friends!

– Today is a landmark event for our regional structure of the "Belaya Rus" party – we are presenting flags to regional branches, as well as certificates and membership cards to party members, – said Vyacheslav Durnov. – All this is happening on the eve of the major national holiday, the Day of National Unity. Today, we are demonstrating within party circles that we must be united and, therefore, invincible. The party has very ambitious plans and many interesting ideas. We see how people are interested in the topics raised by "Belaya Rus" members and how actively they are joining its ranks. And it can be confidently stated that our people are united in the belief that Belarus must be strong and prosperous. This can only be achieved if everyone moves in the same direction together.

During the event, membership cards were solemnly presented, flags were handed over to district branches, and prospective party projects were discussed.

– As of today, there are one and a half thousand people in the regional branch, – said Valentina Bogatyreva, Chairperson of the Vitebsk Regional Branch of the "Belaya Rus" party and Rector of VSU named after P. Masherov. – We are growing significantly. I see the flow of applications, the burning eyes, and the desire of people to participate in such a unifying cause for society. We have many projects, including educational and politically educational ones, but they are all aimed at ensuring that our citizens better understand the idea around which they should consolidate and what the most serious events lie ahead.
