This year, meliorators are tasked with increasing the agricultural land of the district by 342 hectares. Previously meliorated areas in the agricultural enterprise “Prazhektar” (134 hectares), and melioration facilities “Stai” (136 hectares) and “Kalinina” (72 hectares) in the agricultural branch “Zaazerye” will be reconstructed. Agromelioration will be carried out on 179 hectares. It includes the removal of stumps, brushwood, repair of canal and drainage systems, and soil cultivation before delivery to consumers.
Separately, 15 kilometers of canals near the villages of Shubniki, Pogareloye, Gorki, Sviditsa, and Morozova Slobodka will be repaired.

The 138-hectare melioration facility “Construction of the melioration system of SGF “Zaazerye” is located beyond the robotized farm “Yurkovshchina.”
Fashenes are made from alder branches and willow cuttings, which serve as accelerators for water filtration (filtration absorbers) for filtration windows above the drainage. Thus, from the marsh vegetation, only stumps are not used, which are being grubbed by Vitaly Plisko on a T-130 tractor, and in the most waterlogged hollows, where the tractor can get stuck – Oleg Kuznetsov and Oleg Aletsky on a Japanese “Komatsu” excavator. Firewood is transported by “Belaruses” driven by Vladimir Gayko and Leonid Misnik.
And with the onset of stable warmth, they will begin to re-grub stumps, break up mounds (earth removed from canals), lay drainage, finish canals, sow slopes, arrange hollows to accelerate surface water runoff, tidy up outlets, and carry out agrotechnical cultivation of the meliorated area. The facility will be commissioned in 2013.
