I International Competition-Festival "We Live and Create!"

The People's Drama Theatre "Poisk" of the State Cultural Institution "Lepel District House of Culture" took part in the I International Competition-Festival "We Live and Create!", which was held at the Municipal Cultural Institution "House of Culture of the Leninist Komsomol" in Velikiye Luki, Russian Federation.

The People's Drama Theatre "Poisk" of the State Cultural Institution "Lepel District House of Culture" took part in the I International Competition-Festival "We Live and Create!", which was held at the Municipal Cultural Institution "House of Culture of the Leninist Komsomol" in Velikiye Luki, Russian Federation.

Entries were accepted in several nominations: "Artistic Word" (poetry, prose, monologue, musical-literary composition); "Drama Theatre" (solo performance, excerpt from a play, drama play); "Musical Theatre" (operetta, musical); "Puppet Theatre"; "Plastic Theatre" (pantomime, plastic etude); "Folk Theatre" (folk drama, "Petrushka" theatre, fairground theatre, nativity plays, ritual performances and ceremonies).

At the end of the competition days, jury members and educators participated in a joint round table discussion, where they discussed the competition performances and exchanged views. Jury members shared their impressions and gave recommendations to the leaders and educators.

The People's Drama Theatre "Poisk" presented V. Shukshin's comedy-farce "And in the Morning They Woke Up" for the audience and jury, for which it received the GRAND PRIX DIPLOMA in the "Drama Theatre" nomination.
