As part of a working trip to the Vitebsk region, the Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Igor Vladimirovich Bolotov, took part in the opening of a new building of the "Zhemchuzhina" children's rehabilitation and health resort centre, and also visited units of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations.
At the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, Igor Vladimirovich familiarised himself with the material and technical base and the service conditions of the rescuers, and also communicated with the personnel of the garrison.
The Deputy Minister reminded the employees of the importance of maintaining a high level of combat readiness of the units, observing labour and transport discipline, and also the need to improve professional skills and strengthen the physical fitness of rescuers.
Close attention was focused on the need to perform, at the official level, the functions that are currently assigned to the emergency services and units.
At the end of the meeting, Igor Vladimirovich thanked the Lepel garrison for their work, and also urged the employees towards further development and the importance of clearly fulfilling their official duty, and coordinated actions in solving any assigned tasks.
