11 August, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. Inflation in Belarus in January-July of the current year amounted to 4.4% compared to 7.7% for the same period last year. In July 2010, inflation was 0.3%, the National Statistical Committee informed BELTA. In 2009, inflation in Belarus was 10.1% (0.8% on average per month). For 2010, inflation is planned within the range of 8-10%. In January-July 2010, prices of industrial producers increased by 10.8%, including 0.3% in July. According to the Ministry of Architecture and Construction, prices for construction and installation works in July 2010 increased by 1.1% compared to June 2010, and by 8.9% compared to December 2009. According to Belstat, prices for food products in July 2010 increased by 0.2% compared to June, and by 4.3% compared to December 2009. Non-food goods increased in price by 5.1% over seven months of 2010, and by 0.1% in July. Prices and tariffs for paid services in July 2010 increased by 0.8% compared to June, and by 3.8% compared to December 2009. -0-
