8 April, Minsk /BELTA/. Inflation in Belarus in March 2013 amounted to 1.1%. This was reported to BELTA by the National Statistical Committee.
Thus, the consumer price index for goods and services in March compared to February was 101.1%, and compared to December 2012 - 105.4%.
Prices for food products in March 2013 increased by 0.6% compared to February, and by 5.2% compared to December 2012. For non-food products in March, prices increased by 0.4% compared to February, and by 1.8% compared to December.
Prices and tariffs for paid services in March became 3% higher compared to February, and 12% higher compared to December 2012.
In Belarus, the inflation forecast for 2013 is set at 12%. Following the results of 2012, it amounted to 21.8%. Inflation in January 2013 was 3%, and in February - 1.2%.-0-
