During the preliminary and judicial investigation, it was established that a resident of Senno was driving a technically sound vehicle and, while moving along the 168th kilometre of the M3 Minsk-Vitebsk road, crossed the horizontal road marking line designating the edge of the carriageway and drove onto the right shoulder in his direction of travel, thereby violating the requirement of clause 84 of the Traffic Regulations. With the right part of the body of the vehicle he was driving, he hit a cyclist who was moving in the same direction on the asphalt shoulder. As a result of the road traffic accident, the cyclist sustained grievous bodily harm posing a danger to life.
The court of Lepel District found the resident of Senno guilty of committing a crime provided for by Part 2 of Article 317 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus and sentenced him to restriction of liberty for two years without direction to an open-type correctional institution, with deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to the operation of all types of vehicles for a period of 2 years.

As a result of the inspection, it was established that the employees of KUP "Borovka" are not providing proper technical maintenance of residential buildings, as a result of which the condition of balconies, facades, and other structures does not always meet technical requirements.
Based on the results of the inspection, a submission was made to KUP "Borovka" to eliminate violations of housing legislation, Directive of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 1 of 11.03.2004 "On measures to strengthen public safety and discipline", and the causes and conditions that contributed to these violations.
