A criminal case was considered against a native of Susha village who committed a crime under Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
The native of Susha village, previously repeatedly convicted, decided in late December 2018 to steal food from the house of the victim Z., knowing that she leaves for her daughter in the city of Vitebsk during the winter period. Using a chisel, he broke through the door and entered the house, took various food products, put the broken part back in place, and went home. In early February 2019, he entered the house of the victim S. to also steal food products, broke through the door and entered the house, from where he stole various food products and went home.
Both during the preliminary investigation and during the judicial investigation, the native of Susha village fully admitted his guilt and sincerely repented.
The court of Lepel District found the native of Susha village guilty of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus and sentenced him to restriction of liberty with direction to an open-type correctional institution for a term of 2 years.
This sentence of the court of Lepel District has entered into legal force.
