Information on the results of public discussion

The Lepel District Executive Committee hereby informs about the results of the public discussion of the draft environmentally significant decision on the approval of green space schemes for general use in the town of Lepel (hereinafter referred to as the draft decision).

The public discussion was held in accordance with the Regulation on the Procedure for Organising and Conducting Public Discussions of Draft Environmentally Significant Decisions, Environmental Impact Assessment Reports, and Consideration of Adopted Environmentally Significant Decisions, approved by Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 458 of 14.06.2016 (hereinafter referred to as the Regulation), in the form of public information dissemination from 23 May 2017 to 23 June 2017 inclusive.

A notice on the public discussion of the draft decision was published in the district newspaper "Lepelski Krai" in issue No. 41 (11494) dated 23 May 2017. Additionally, the notice, along with an electronic version of the draft decision on the approval of green space schemes for general use in the town of Lepel, was posted on the official website of the Lepel District Executive Committee on the Internet at www. lepel.vitebsk-region.gov.by, in the special section "Public Discussions".

The notice on the public discussion of the draft decision contained the necessary information in accordance with clause 14 of chapter 2 of the Regulation.

Citizens and legal entities could review the draft decision from 23 May 2017 to 23 June 2017 (from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 17:00) at the administrative building of the Lepel District Executive Committee, located at: Lepel town, Leninskaya Street, 6, office 107.

During the period of the public discussion of the draft decision, from 23 May 2017 to 23 June 2017, no comments and/or proposals from citizens and legal entities regarding the draft decision, nor any requests from the public for a meeting to discuss the draft decision, were received.

Following the public discussion of the draft decision, the commission determined:

1. To consider the public discussion on the draft decision on the approval of the green spaces schemes for general use in the town of Lepel as having taken place in accordance with the requirements of the Regulation on the Procedure for Organizing and Conducting Public Discussions of Environmentally Significant Decisions, Environmental Impact Assessment Reports, and Accounting for Adopted Environmentally Significant Decisions, approved by Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of June 14, 2016 No. 458.

2. In the manner established by Article 33¹ of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of June 14, 2003 No. 205-Z "On the Flora", within one month after the approval of the green spaces scheme for general use in the town of Lepel, to post it on the official website of the local executive and administrative body in the global computer network Internet.
