Information on the results of the public discussion held on November 17, 2020

Lepel District Executive Committee informs about the results of the public discussion of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report for the facility "Base station in the village of Savin Dub, Lepel district, Vitebsk region" (customer - Unitary enterprise for rendering services "A1")

The public discussion was held in accordance with the Regulation on the procedure for organizing and conducting public discussions of environmentally significant decisions, environmental impact assessment reports, and accounting for adopted environmentally significant decisions, approved by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 14.06.2016 No. 458 (hereinafter referred to as the Regulation), in the form of public information from October 13, 2020 to November 11, 2020 (inclusive).

The notification of the public discussion of the EIA report was published in the district newspaper "Lepelski Krai" in the issue of October 9, 2020, No. 81 (111846), and the notification, along with the electronic version of the EIA report for the facility "Base station in the village of Savin Dub, Lepel district, Vitebsk region", was posted on the official website of the Lepel District Executive Committee on the Internet at www.lepel.vitebsk-region.gov.by in the special section "Public Discussions".

The notification of the public discussion of the EIA report contained the necessary information in accordance with paragraph 35 of Chapter 4 of the Regulation, namely: contact information on postal and electronic addresses, telephone and fax numbers where citizens and legal entities could send their comments and/or proposals on the EIA report to the organizers of the public discussion, deadlines for submitting comments and/or proposals, deadlines and procedure for submitting applications for the need to hold a meeting to discuss the EIA report, as well as information on the intention to conduct a public environmental review.

Citizens and legal entities could review the EIA report from October 13, 2020 to November 11, 2020 (inclusive).

During the period of the public discussion of the EIA report for the facility: "Base station in the village of Savin Dub, Lepel district, Vitebsk region", no proposals or appeals were received from the public with a statement on the need for a meeting to discuss the EIA report, nor on the need for public environmental expertise.

Following the public discussion of the EIA report, the commission determined:

1. To consider the public discussion of the environmental impact assessment report for the facility: "Base station in the village of Savin Dub, Lepel district, Vitebsk region" as having taken place in accordance with the requirements of the Regulation on the procedure for organizing and conducting public discussions of environmentally significant decisions, environmental impact assessment reports, and consideration of adopted environmentally significant decisions, approved by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of June 14, 2016 No. 458.

2. To recommend the facility: "Base station in the village of Savin Dub, Lepel district, Vitebsk region" for further implementation in the established manner.
