An information and outreach group of the Lepel District Executive Committee visited the staff of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations.

An information and propaganda group, led by the Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Sergey Bystritsky, visited the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations (ROChS). At the beginning of the meeting, attendees were shown a short film about the importance of the work of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) staff in Belarus, about its bodies and units, innovations in this field, and much more.

The main topic of the meeting was THE CULTURAL AND NATURAL HERITAGE OF BELARUS AS A FACTOR IN TOURISM DEVELOPMENT – this was presented by Tatyana Galay, chief specialist of the sports and tourism sector of the district executive committee.

Sergey Mikhailovich informed attendees about the commissioned housing, the facilities that have already begun construction in our district, and the plans for the near future. Thus, in 2021, 11 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned: about 5 thousand in apartment buildings and 6 thousand in individual construction.

The issue of road repairs, which greatly concerns citizens, was also touched upon. Continuous asphalting is planned for a section of the road from the bridge on Ulyanka Street to the Zaozerskoye Forestry, and for Berezinskaya Street towards the Central Regional Hospital (CRB) and in the village of Borovka.

During the discussion, several questions and a request were received from the audience to the Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee, asking the communal services to add sand to the sandboxes in the new microdistrict behind the former "Domashniy" shop. Attendees also inquired about the work being carried out on the territory of the gymnasium named after I. M. Erashov.

Sergey Mikhailovich noted that a modern mini-football pitch with artificial turf will soon appear there. A similar facility already exists on the territory between the buildings of secondary schools No. 1 and No. 3. The pitch is financed by the local budget, as well as by the Football Federation of Belarus.

The topic of the swimming pool, planned to be built opposite the Department of Internal Affairs (ROVD), was also addressed. It will feature 2 pools – a children's (shallow) and an adult pool with 3 lanes, a bath complex, a gym, and an aerobics hall.

Then, the senior state traffic inspector of the traffic police department of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs addressed the ROChS staff. The topic of discussion concerned traffic regulations and the road situation in our district.

It was noted that the main problem

all misfortunes— non-compliance by drivers and pedestrians with elementary rules, which leads to road traffic accidents.

In conclusion, Vadim Nikolaevich urged everyone to take care of their health and lives. Oksana Divina, a general practitioner at the Lepel Central District Hospital, spoke about a healthy lifestyle. Tempering, sunbathing, the harms of smoking and alcohol, vaccination, and a positive attitude—Oksana Ivanovna touched upon all these topics in her speech.

Andrei Malyavko, senior operative officer of the Department of Combating Drug Trafficking and Illegal Migration of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs, spoke about the responsibility for the use, storage, and distribution of narcotic drugs.
