On November 17, the Minsk Regional Executive Committee will host an information centre to collect real-time data on the progress of the elections to the House of Representatives. This was reported to BELTA by the Minsk Regional Executive Committee.
All information from the districts of the region will be posted on the official website of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee www.minsk-region.gov.by.
A total of 1,123,425 people are included in the voter lists.
In the Minsk region, 73 candidates for deputies have been registered, of whom 6 have withdrawn from the race. Thus, 67 people are vying for seats in the House of Representatives.
Seventeen constituencies have been formed in the region. 982 polling stations have been opened, including 7 located in military units, 36 in sanatoria, health resorts, rest homes, hospitals and other healthcare organizations.
10,295 people work in the election commissions, including 441 civil servants. Over 5,000 citizens have been included in the commissions through applications, almost 800 nominated by work collectives, 74 by political parties. More than 4.4 thousand people are representatives of public associations (trade unions, "Belaya Rus", Belarusian Women's Union, BRSM, Belarusian Peace Foundation, veterans' association).
Approximately 3.5 thousand observers have been accredited in the capital region. The majority are from public associations (over 3 thousand), 220 from political parties, 176 by submitting applications, 109 from work collectives.
