On July 12, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. The interactive exhibition-presentation of modern activities of children's and youth additional education institutions of Belarus "Technograd" will be held on Victory Square in Vitebsk on July 13-14 during Youth Day at the "Slavianski Bazaar". This was reported to a BelTA correspondent by the Republican Center for Technical Creativity of Students.
The exhibition will consist of thematic expositions: "Electronics and Automation", "Technoart", and "Reconstruction and Modelling of Knightly Armour".
Visitors to the "Electronics and Automation" exposition will be able to see various technical inventions by Belarusian youth. For example, a GSM alarm system for safes with a code lock, which will notify the owner and the security department in case of an attempted break-in. The "Technoart" exhibition features sculptures and compositions made of metal, and art objects in the context of industrial production technologies.
The "Reconstruction and Modelling of Knightly Armour" exposition will present various options for knightly armour sets: both fully assembled historical replicas of full-height knightly attire, and individual parts such as breastplates, gauntlets, shields, and helmets.
As noted at the Center for Technical Creativity of Students, the "Technograd" event will contribute to fostering an interest in technical creativity among youth, and will attract young people to inventiveness, rationalization, design and engineering, and research activities. For this purpose, master classes will be organised during the exhibition, demonstration performances aimed at developing and popularising technical creativity among children and youth will take place, and the production and practical periodical "Yunyy tekhnik-vynakhodnіk" will be presented. -0-
