The youth competition is being held on "VKontakte". To participate, young people need to join or be members of the "MOOP Vitebsk Region" groups (https://vk.com/moop_vitebsk) on the "VKontakte" social network, and then, within the competition period, post photos with the hashtags #НеПрожигайСвоюЖизнь2017, #МООПВитебщины, #МООПМЧС, #БРСМВО, #МЧС, which reflect an alternative to smoking. Personal data (BRSM Youth Union Committee, participant's full name, educational institution, phone number) and the photo title should be added to the pictures in the format "Smoking in bed is a cause of fire. I don't smoke - I... (alternative to smoking). Join the campaign and pass the baton to a friend!" with the mandatory use of the hashtags #НеПрожигайСвоюЖизнь2017, #МООПВитебщины.
Upon completion of the competition, all participant photos will be posted in a special album in the "MOOP Vitebsk Region" groups (https://vk.com/moop_vitebsk), where an open online vote for the most vivid and interesting photo will be held using likes. The author of the best work will be awarded a prize.
The event is being organized for the third consecutive year with the aim of promoting a healthy lifestyle and safe living among youth, fostering an active civic stance in young people, and preventing fires and related fatalities caused by smoking. The organizers are the Vitebsk Regional Committee of BRSM and the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
