On October 22, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. An internet bridge with representatives of the Red Cross societies of Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held today in Vitebsk, the Vitebsk regional organization of the Belarusian Red Cross Society informed a BELTA correspondent. The region is implementing the project "Strengthening the Nursing Service of the Belarusian Red Cross Society". Within its framework, international experts and employees of the regional organization are holding a conference dedicated to the role of the elderly in modern society and the conditions for realizing their potential. Participants will discuss the development of mechanisms for active participation of the elderly in solving social problems, the formation of a positive image of the elderly, public recognition of their authority and social contribution, and the creation of conditions for an active and healthy lifestyle for the elderly. The internet bridge will connect conference participants with representatives of the Red Cross societies of Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, who work with the elderly in their countries.
