One of the priority areas of activity for the Lepel District Prosecutor's Office is conducting inspections of compliance with legislation on citizens' and legal entities' applications. As a result of inspections and supervisory activities, 1 submission was made.

In the past year, prosecutor's office employees received 164 citizens in person (2018 – 163), of whom 54 (89) were received personally by the prosecutor or their deputy. Prosecutor's office employees received 63 citizens at their places of residence and work (63). The District Prosecutor held citizens' receptions once a week on Wednesdays, as well as at any other time when necessary and in the absence of prosecutor's office employees.

During general supervisory inspections, citizens are received at enterprises and organizations. In the course of these inspections, 3 citizens were received (2018 – 6).

In addition, prosecutor's office employees held meetings with the population at their places of residence and work. Such meetings were held at: JSC "Lyadno", SPF "Zaozerie", Educational Institution "Lepel LGATK", military unit 22313, Borovka village, military unit 71327, Zaslonovo village, JSC "Ladosno", JSC "Chereyshchina", IME for Lepel District, Lepel PMK-75, JSC "Lepelagroservice", KUPSHP "Lepelskoye", SPP "Prozhektor", OPI of Lepel District, Bobrovsky, Kamensky, Borovsky, Staysky rural councils (at place of residence), Educational Institution "Gymnasium named after I.M. Erashov"; State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 3 of Lepel", State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 1 of Lepel", Healthcare Institution "Lepel Regional Psychiatric Hospital", Healthcare Institution "Lepel Central Regional Hospital", Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs.

In 2019, the District Prosecutor's Office received 76 applications and complaints from citizens (2018 – 81). Of these, 42 (36) were resolved by prosecutor's office employees of the district prosecutor's office, 25 (29) were sent to other departments; 8 (9) were left without consideration; 0 (9) were returned; 1 (0) was terminated due to withdrawal.

In 2019, the District Prosecutor's Office received 42 applications from business entities (2018 – 73), of which 33 (63) were resolved, 4 (4) were sent to other departments, 2 (0) were left without consideration, and 3 (6) proceedings were terminated due to withdrawal.

Of the total number of resolved citizens' applications: 13 (7) concerned supervision of legislation enforcement: 6 (3) – on administrative liability; 0 (3) – on compliance with laws on minors; 1 (1) – on the organization of work with citizens' applications, 1 (0) – on labor legislation, 2 (0) – on military duty; 16 (23) – on supervision during pre-trial proceedings; 7 (3) – on issues
