By the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 28 July 2022 No. 494, amendments have been made to the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 29 August 2013 No. 758 “On additional measures for the eradication and prevention of the spread of African swine fever and other dangerous animal diseases”, in accordance with which:

By the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 28 July 2022 No. 494, amendments have been made to the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 29 August 2013 No. 758 “On additional measures for the eradication and prevention of the spread of African swine fever and other dangerous animal diseases”, in accordance with which:
- compensatory payments (from budget funds) to the hunting user and the hunter who has taken a wild boar are abolished;
- the use of hunting products obtained from taking a wild boar is provided for, with a fee charged to the hunter (group of hunters) in the amount of one base value for taking young animals (animals under two years of age) and two base values for taking an adult animal, regardless of sex and trophy qualities;
- drive hunting for wild boar during the period from 1 October to 31 January is permitted on all days of the week.
A special regime for the use of wild boar resources (special hunting conditions) is maintained – the removal of animals is carried out without regard to wild boar removal plans, as well as without restrictions on the number of animals removed, their sex and age, in order to maximally reduce the population size.
Hunting products obtained from taking wild boar are subject to mandatory veterinary control in accordance with the Regulations on the procedure for conducting veterinary and radiation control of hunting products, as well as the transportation, use, detoxification and (or) disposal of hunting products, including those infected with pathogens or with exceeding permissible levels of radioactive contamination, approved by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 27 June 2018 No. 493, and are used by the hunter who took the wild boar for personal purposes.
The export of hunting products obtained from taking wild boar from the Republic of Belarus is prohibited.

These amendments will come into force on 1 October 2022.
