The educational institution "Secondary School No. 3 of Lepel" hosted the competition-game "I Would Become a Rescuer, Teach Me!", which has become a tradition at the school, as it has been held for several years. The participants were young rescuers from the 6th grades, who were divided into three teams. The children had to present themselves as rescuer-fighters and show what courageous and brave people this profession entails. The competition-game was judged by the school's organiser-educator Yulia Vladimirovna Kryukova, the inspector of the propaganda and public relations group of the RChS Alexander Mikhailovich Sadovsky, and the inspector of IiNP Mikhail Vladimirovich Karpenko.
The competition began with a greeting of the participating teams, followed by the "Young Propagandist" contest. The children had prepared fire safety-themed leaflets in advance, and they took the task very seriously. In the "Agitator" contest, a short story was created in 3 minutes using items found at a fire scene. In the "Fire is a Friend, Fire is an Enemy" contest, the schoolchildren answered questions from a life safety test, demonstrating their knowledge of actions in various emergency situations. The teams also competed in their ability to don firefighter-rescuer protective clothing and gas masks, tie a rescue knot, call the fire service, and provide assistance and transport to a casualty.
At the end of the competition, Alexander Sadovsky presented the winners with certificates and informative booklets titled "Geometry of Safety." He wished them success in their studies, all the best in life, urged them not to forget to follow fire safety rules and to share their knowledge with acquaintances and loved ones, and encouraged those who dreamed of becoming rescuers to make their dreams come true.
