A musical gift performed by the chief physician, a paramedic "consulting" on plastic surgery – on this day, many tried themselves in an unusual role on the stage of the assembly hall of the central district hospital. Last Friday, an important event was celebrated here brightly and interestingly: exactly 30 years ago, the hospital moved to a new building.

Healthcare workers began to demonstrate their talents in the foyer before the assembly hall. Embroidery, beadwork, knitting – the exhibition of decorative and applied arts brought together works of various techniques. Extraordinary plots and their neat execution... Only by the captions could one recognize that the exhibition was not prepared by professional masters. For example, the senior nurse of the surgical department, Natalia Masharo, surprised with a collection of painted bottles, and the dermatovenerologist, Inessa Novskaya, with bead crafts.

It turned out that there are many embroiderers in the hospital. The staff of the intensive care and anesthesiology department – senior nurse Tatyana Rimovich, nurse Ekaterina Galinskaya, and orderly Elena Kachalova – presented more than two dozen cross-stitched pictures. The gallery of embroidery was complemented by works from the chief nurse Oksana Okunevich, the senior nurse of the physical therapy and medical rehabilitation department Irina Kapishkevich, the obstetrician-gynecologist of the maternity department Marina Fomicheva, and the accountant Ekaterina Petrishche.

Final preparations. The celebration begins. The hosts are chief nurse Oksana Okunevich and ambulance paramedic Viktor Verkhovsky. They invite guests to relive the hospital's opening by inviting the chief physician Ilya Shendalesov to the stage.

Ilya Yuryevich expressed special gratitude to the veterans who had worked in this institution for a long time. 14 departments, 719 employees – this is the "today" of the current hospital. By the way, official medicine appeared in the Lepel region long before the construction of this building: 190 years ago, the zemstvo hospital began its work.

The Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Nikolai Nikitin, presented Certificates of Honor of the District Executive Committee to psychiatrist-narcologist Zoya Kurso, midwife Rufina Shkinder, and driver Vladimir Tagai.
