26 July, Lepel /Own. inf./ The unique performances of the young participants of the drum majorette group of the Lepel Children's Art School, led by Diana Bylinskaya, are a highlight of many city festivals and events. The group members brought fame to the Lepel region at the regional competition festival of wind music "Vivat, Orchestra-2012", which took place in May of the current year. The drum majorettes also performed excellently during the Victory Day rally held on Freedom Square.
It is gratifying to note that the drum majorette group received an invitation to perform on the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, which was held in Vitebsk. For active participation in the festive parade in honour of Independence Day on Victory Square, the Head of the Culture Department of the District Executive Committee, Tamara Barokha, received a Letter of Gratitude from the Head of the Department of Culture of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Larisa Alenskaya.
