Among the pupils of secondary schools in our district, there are many active, purposeful boys and girls who take prize-winning places in district and regional Olympiads, participate in numerous contests and events, and inspire those around them with their energy. The solemn presentation of passports to the best pupils has become a good tradition. This event is held annually in the assembly hall of the district House of Culture on the initiative of the youth affairs department of the district executive committee, the district committee of the NGO "BRSM", and each time leaves the youth with many vivid impressions.
This was the case this year as well. The event hosts – current graduates of I. Ershov Gymnasium, Veronika Mikhailova and Nikita Pishchulenok – addressed the youth with warm greetings. The State Anthem of the Republic of Belarus was played.
To the sincere applause of those present, the Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Nikolai Nikitin, presented passports to the pupils of I. Ershov Gymnasium. The main document of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus was received by Alena Karpitskaya, a winner of regional and republican creative competitions, and Artyom Pyatrischev, a multiple participant in regional Olympiads in physics and geography, who also plays the flute excellently and is a participant in the exemplary wind orchestra of the children's art school.
Vasily Silvanovich, Senior Inspector of the Citizenship and Migration Department of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs, noted in his speech how important and necessary a passport is for every citizen of our country. Along with the best words of congratulations, Vasily Andreevich presented passports to the pupils of Secondary School No. 1.
Sergey Krivel, Chairman of the district organization of the NGO "Belarusian Union of War Veterans in Afghanistan", expressed his sincere wishes from the stage to the fifteen-year-old youths and girls. Sergey Nikolaevich presented passports to the pupils of Secondary School No. 3.
Tatyana Shcherbach, acting first secretary of the organization, prepared a memorable gift from the RK NGO "BRSM" for each of the young citizens.
Alena Karpitskaya shared her impressions from the stage and expressed sincere wishes to her peers. She presented the audience with her musical gift. Kristina Tereshkova, a participant in the zonal qualifying round of the festival "Songs of Youth of Our Parents", as well as well-known local performers Denis Ablavushka and Natalia Matyush, also delighted the audience with their bright performances.
Following a good tradition, pupils of the gymnasium and all city schools took a memorable photograph together with the guests of the event.
