The annual research and practical conference of schoolchildren was held at Secondary School No. 1, where 11 projects were presented. 11 student works were selected for participation. The level of scientific works is growing every year.

The conference work was carried out in sections. First, the defence of works of the humanitarian cycle took place – in Russian, Belarusian, English languages, history, social studies, and labour training. Then, the section for the natural and mathematical cycle was held – mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and geography. A multimedia presentation was prepared for each work. When defending projects, criteria such as scientific validity, analytical culture, logic, research approach, oratory skills, breadth of worldview, and conciseness were taken into account.

The first place in mathematics was taken by the projects of 9th grade "A" student Yulia Divina, Irina Vasilevskaya on the topic "Geometric Methods in the Paintings of World Artists and Children's Drawings".

In history, the work of 9th grade "B" student Ilya Fatyushchenkov on the topic "Full Knight of St. George Dominik Vikentyevich Kanopka" was highly appreciated.

The first place in Belarusian literature was taken by the work of 9th grade "B" student Svetlana Mazgo "Colours and Flowers in the Works of Maksim Bahdanovich".

We are proud of the successes of our school friends and are confident that many more victories await them in the future.
