The Lepel Inter-district Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora reminds that from September 1 to March 31, hunting for beavers and otters is permitted during the day. Permitted hunting methods: by rifle from a stalk, from an ambush (during dark hours in the presence of an official of the hunting grounds user) and without a rifle.
Permitted hunting implements: rifled hunting weapons with a muzzle energy of the bullet exceeding 1,500 joules, smooth-bore hunting weapons using cartridges loaded with bullets or buckshot, hunting bows and crossbows.
