The boiler and heating network unit of KUVP ZhKG "Lepel" operates 13 boiler houses in the town and district. First and foremost, this is the central town boiler house, which provides heating and hot water supply to the majority of Lepel's housing stock and a significant number of enterprises and institutions. A number of industrial and social facilities in our town are heated and supplied with hot water from the boiler houses of the electromechanical plant, the land reclamation systems enterprise, the central district hospital, and the regional children's hospital for musculoskeletal disorders. Additionally, for rural residents, our municipal enterprise's boiler houses operate in Stai, Polsvizh, Slabada, Domzheritsy, Pyshno, Valasavichy, and Grigorovichi. In total, more than 80 people work at the boiler and heating network unit, and their number will be slightly increased just before the start of the new heating season.

  In preparation for the heating period, preventive maintenance has been carried out on all boiler equipment. New, modern pumps have been installed in the boiler houses of the land reclamation systems enterprise, in Slabada, and Grigorovichi. These pumps are highly economical, consume less electricity, and allow for energy resource savings.


More than 140 apartment buildings are serviced in the town and district, with heating networks totalling 61.8 kilometres laid to them. Heating systems of 35 residential buildings have been pressure tested, and all heat pipelines have undergone hydro-pneumatic flushing. Individual sections of heat networks, with a total length of over one kilometre, have been replaced.

  For hot water supply, new plate heat exchangers have been installed in apartment buildings at Sovetskaya Street, 73a, and Maksima Gorkogo Street, 27. A similar heat exchanger will also be installed in the residential building at Kalinina Street, 66a.

  For a reliable hot water supply, one boiler operating on local fuel is now functioning at the central boiler house.

  A gas piston unit is currently operating at the central boiler house, which, among other things, generates inexpensive electricity.
