How to wear a flicker?

Flickers, or retroreflective elements, serve to identify vulnerable road users during darkness.

The primary method of attracting drivers' attention using flickers is their bright glow in the dark when illuminated by a light source.

The attachment location for flickers is not specified in the Rules, however, it is recommended to attach them to moving body parts (arms or legs), as well as to bags and backpacks. This is due to the random movement of arms, legs, and hand luggage while walking. The bright glow, combined with constant movement, increases the chance that a driver will notice a pedestrian in time.
