1 - In Telegram, an unknown girl offered an 11-year-old girl from Minsk communication, found out her residential area, and demanded geolocation.

2 - Then, a voice message arrived with a male voice, threatening to send "drones" to her place of residence if she did not "cooperate."

3 - Later, a person claiming to be a KGB officer contacted the girl: he stated that "geolocation had been transferred to attackers" and demanded that she remotely "check" the safe – by taking a photo and stating the amount. The child agreed.

4 - She was instructed to collect money from another teenager; then, to put family savings into a backpack and hand it over to a "policeman" in the park, while keeping her on the line and forbidding her to hang up.

5 - At the designated location, an unknown person took the briefcase containing over $19,000 and Br6,000 using a code word. Only after this did the girl tell her parents, who then contacted law enforcement.

The next day, the "policeman" was identified and detained – he turned out to be a 26-year-old foreigner. He arrived in our country under the instructions of curators and acted as a courier.

A criminal case has been initiated under Part 4 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code (fraud on a particularly large scale).

Recommendations for parents and children:

- Do not engage in correspondence with strangers in messengers. - Do not disclose your geolocation, photos of safes, amounts of savings, or SMS codes to anyone. - If threats are made or an attempt is made to "force" you – immediately end the conversation and inform your parents. - For suspicious requests for money transfers – call the police immediately.
