How the unified voting day is proceeding in Lepel district

Festive trade has been organised here since early morning - the Lepel branch of the Vitebsk Regional Consumer Society is presenting its products. Salads, dumplings, draniki, cakes, pastries, drinks - there is plenty of everything, the dishes are delicious, beautiful and appetizing.

A festive concert will begin in a few minutes.

As you can see for yourselves, everything is proceeding calmly. There are no comments at this hour, but the activity is pleasingly high, - noted the chairperson of the precinct election commission.

Voting is also proceeding calmly at polling station No. 4, located in the building of the Lepel Gymnasium.

In the institution's hall, voters are greeted by the school's artists with patriotic songs, as well as by trade workers with fresh, delicious products.

Voters are in a good mood, everyone is satisfied, feeling the festive atmosphere and a sense of involvement in an important historical moment.

We never miss elections, as we understand that every citizen's participation in this process is important. We knew who we would vote for long ago. We believe that a decent person, one who is close to the people, should become a deputy, - shared Galina and Alexander Shaitory.

The Unified Voting Day has also become a holiday for voters registered at polling station No. 5.

The voting process at our polling station is proceeding confidently, without fuss. Many voters come to the polling station independently, some using our transport, which is operating today along the assigned streets.

A concert program for voters has been prepared by artists from the Lepel Children's Art School, and delicious dishes by employees of the canteen of the "Lepel MKC" branch of OJSC "Vitebsk Meat Processing Plant".

I came to cast my vote for a candidate today, on the Unified Voting Day, because I knew it would be festive and cheerful. And so it is - the atmosphere is wonderful.

And I voted for those who are true patriots of the country, who will defend the interests of ordinary Belarusians.

The Unified Voting Day has also brought together residents of the rural areas of Lepel District today.

For example, the chairpersons of the election commissions note the high turnout of citizens at polling stations No. 8 (located at the Polsvizh school) and No. 14 (located at the Stay House of Culture).

People are choosing stability, peace, and confidence in the future, notes the chairperson of polling station No. 8. - About 40% of voters voted early with us, the rest are coming today. No one is indifferent.

Trading areas are operating at the polling stations, as well as in the town, and concerts have been organised.

The voting process today includes home visits for those who, for various reasons, could not come to the polling station.

Thus, members of the precinct election commission visited the home of Anna Artemovna and Pyotr Gavrilovich Misnik today, who live in the agro-town of Stay.

The couple, due to their age, could not come to the polling station, but were able to cast their vote at home.

We knew that today is an important day in our country. We followed the progress of the electoral campaign on TV news channels and read information in newspapers.
