How to choose a scooter for a child. Advice for parents
1) Scooter Size
Choose a children's scooter specifically designed for kids, which is appropriate for their height and dimensions. If the scooter is too large for a child, they may not be able to control it and could fall off.
2) Child Protection
Choose a helmet designed for scootering, not cycling – they have different constructions and protect different parts of the head.
Also, purchase a set of protective gear for elbows, knees, and wrists.
3) Proper Footwear
4) Braking Rules
For safe scootering, teach your child how to control the scooter, and most importantly, how to brake.
5) Where to Ride a Scooter
It is best to ride scooters in parks and public gardens on paved paths where you will not interfere with pedestrians. Do not ride in rainy or wet weather – scooters are difficult to control.
6) It's Great Together
