In Belarus, when participating in road traffic from December 1 to March 1, vehicles must be equipped with winter tires on all wheels, with the same tread pattern on the same axle. This requirement does not apply to trucks over 3.5 tons, nor to buses over 5 tons.
Winter tires are tires that have both of the following markings simultaneously:a mountain peak symbol with three peaks and a snowflake inside,
one of the symbols "M+S", "M&S", "M S".
If BOTH of these symbols are present on the marking, such tires are considered winter tires, even if they have any additional designations (+ All Season; Road+Winter (R+W); Any Weather, etc.)
During operation, winter tires must have a residual tread depth of at least 4 mm.
Considering the deteriorating weather conditions, we recommend refraining from travel if your vehicle is not yet equipped with winter tires.
Be attentive while driving and strictly adhere to the traffic rules.
