Smoke-free and Fire-free Holidays

To foster a sense of responsibility for safe behaviour in everyday life within the framework of the republican campaign "Holidays without Smoke and Fire," employees of the Lepel district conducted preventive events in children's summer health resorts located in the Lepel district.

The children learned about the main sources of danger during the summer, and where and how to relax safely through preventive discussions. They were reminded once again about the dangers associated with recreation near water bodies and the risks of lighting fires in forests. The children eagerly asked questions that interested them and gained a lot of useful knowledge. At the end of the discussions, to help the children feel like real rescuers, they tried on firefighters' protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus, and familiarised themselves with the fire-fighting equipment used in emergency response.
