Teaching children the basics of safety is an important and responsible task. It is from an early age that key knowledge and skills are formed, which help to behave correctly in extreme situations. To teach the younger generation the basics of safety, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations conduct thematic events for schoolchildren, turning them into engaging lessons where children learn to notice potential risks and respond to them competently.
Another engaging event with children from the school camp of Secondary School No. 1 in Lepel was conducted by the propaganda inspector of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, Fedorovich Tatyana Vladimirovna, at the premises of the district children's library.
Talking with the children, Tatyana Vladimirovna revealed safety secrets to them: she explained what fire is and how to behave to avoid trouble, urged the children to be attentive and careful, and not to play with matches and other dangerous items.
There were also riddles, contests, and quizzes, where everyone could show their abilities. While playing, the students reviewed the "5 Steps to Rescue" and the phone numbers of emergency response services, and a series of cartoons "The Magic Book" helped to consolidate the acquired knowledge.
At the end of the meeting, the inspector told the schoolchildren about the periodical "Young Rescuer" and recommended that the children actively participate in the contests held by the editorial office to have the opportunity to win valuable prizes and gifts.
