Teaching the younger generation the basics of safety is a challenging but extremely important task. It is at an early age that fundamental knowledge and skills are laid, which shape a child's behavior in an emergency situation.

Thus, in the midst of the autumn holidays, the propaganda inspector of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations organized real safety lessons for children from the after-school camps of the Starolepel, Polsvizh, and Stay schools.

To engage the children in discussing vital issues, the conversation was structured in a playful manner. Boys and girls were invited to guess objects by touch using the "Guess What's Inside" box. During the game, the inspector told the children about the most common causes of fires, as well as their consequences, reminded them of the rules for using electrical appliances, and explained in detail the inadmissibility of overloading the electrical grid.

– Did you know that a charger left in the socket without a phone can catch fire? And the standby mode of electrical appliances does not involve constant connection to the mains and is designed for only a few hours, – emphasized Tatyana Fedorovich.

While playing, the "OSHE experts" recalled how to properly use a fire extinguisher, what number to call rescuers, what information to provide, and much more.

Of course, all participants of the "safety lesson" received handouts on life safety as a souvenir. And saying goodbye to the representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations until the next fun and educational meeting, the children promised to follow all the rules and teach them to their friends!
