The first negative consequences were noted by weather-sensitive individuals; sharp changes in atmospheric pressure caused fluctuations in blood pressure. There was an increase in visits to medical professionals.
Driving a car in such weather conditions requires greater caution, as the risk of road traffic accidents increases sharply. Road services are intensively treating streets and highways against icing. Traffic police officers are paying closer attention to particularly hazardous sections.
Sharp weather changes are also not beneficial for winter crops: as a result of further prolonged warming, the snow cover may become too thin, or even melt altogether. Subsequent frosts with a lack of snow in the fields can significantly damage the crops. According to meteorologists, unstable weather will persist in the coming days, with air temperatures fluctuating around zero.
