21 January, Vitebsk /Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. Local authorities of the Vitebsk region have not fully implemented measures to ensure the effective management of state property. This conclusion was reached by specialists of the Vitebsk Regional Committee of State Control during 22 inspections of business entities in the Vitebsk, Rossony, Senno, Lepel, Orsha, Miory, Liozno districts, the city of Vitebsk, the city of Polotsk, the city of Orsha, and the city of Novopolotsk in 2011, the press service of the Regional Committee of State Control informed BELTA correspondent. The Vitebsk Regional Committee of State Control continuously monitors compliance with legislation in the management of state property. The results of control and analytical activities carried out by the Regional Committee of State Control in 2011 indicate that local executive and administrative bodies of the Vitebsk region have not fully implemented measures to ensure the effective management of state property. Effective control over compliance by business entities with the requirements of legislation in the management of state property, its accounting, and the submission of state statistical reporting on its use has not been established. Overall, in the Vitebsk region, the schedules for involving unused property of urban and district communal ownership into economic circulation have been fulfilled by 79.2% (556 out of 702 objects subject to involvement in 2011 have been involved). Based on the results of work for 2011, the schedules for involving unused property into economic circulation have not been fulfilled by 12 district and 2 city executive committees in the region. The number of written-off or mothballed unused facilities remains significant in the region. Last year, 193 facilities were written off, and 116 were mothballed, or 55.6% of all involved facilities. In 2010, 275 unused facilities were involved in economic circulation in the region through write-off (113 facilities) or mothballing (162), or 62.5% of all involved facilities (440). The Committee of State Control notes the low pace of work on the state registration of state facilities. Thus, based on the results of work for last year, the developed registration schedules have not been fulfilled by all city and district executive committees in the region, except for the Orsha and Novopolotsk city executive committees. Overall, in the Vitebsk region, these schedules have been fulfilled by 14.4% (1421 facilities have been registered).
