Violations of legislation were identified in all 67 retail outlets in the region, inspected in the third quarter, the Vitebsk Regional Control and Audit Committee (KGC) informed a BELTA correspondent. Employees of the regional KGC conducted control measures, as well as monitoring the state of the consumer market, and unscheduled thematic operational inspections on compliance by business entities with trade and trade and production activities rules, service to the rural population by consumer cooperation trade organizations, and compliance with sanitary requirements. In the third quarter, violations of legislation in customer service were established in all 67 inspected retail outlets. On 65.7% of outlets, requirements for the quality of goods sold were not met, with goods worth Br2.9 million being rejected. On 61.2% of retail outlets, sanitary norms and rules for the storage and sale of food products were violated, on 38.8% - customers were not provided with necessary information about goods, on 58.2% of outlets, goods provided for in assortment lists were missing, in every tenth inspected retail outlet, the procedure for dispensing goods and settlements with customers was violated, and cases of non-compliance with metrological norms and rules were also identified. Based on the results of trade activity inspections, 108 offenders were brought to administrative responsibility with fines totaling Br12.9 million, and 76 people were brought to disciplinary responsibility, including 3 dismissals. -0-
