The Vitebsk Regional Committee of State Control will hold a hotline for residents of the region on May 22 regarding the issue of untimely payment of wages, BELTA was informed by the Regional Committee of State Control.
The hotline is held to ensure employers comply with the labor rights of employees and the established deadlines for wage payment. Inquiries will be accepted from 10:00 to 17:00 (break from 13:00 to 14:00) by phone: 8 (0212) 37-61-53, 8 (0212) 37-61-94, and 8 (0212) 37-61-70.
According to the instructions of the Chairman of the Committee of State Control, Leonid Anfimov, a monitoring is organized on the issue of untimely wage payment. During this monitoring, statistical reports are analyzed, the reasons for the formation of wage arrears are identified, and problems indicated by citizens in their inquiries and personal receptions are studied. Demands to eliminate wage arrears and improve payment discipline with employees are sent to local authorities and to the violators. For violating payment deadlines, those responsible are brought to administrative responsibility.
According to the Committee of State Control, overdue wage arrears were absent in the Vitebsk region at the beginning of May.
