Seven metres wide and five metres high – this is the screen size at the district culture centre where Lepel residents have been watching films since October. "Gagarin. First in Space," "Legend No. 17," "Footprints of the Apostles" – townspeople have already had the chance to see these 2013 releases.

Film enthusiasts are now delighted not only by the scale but also by the good quality. The recently installed new video projector allows for bright and clear image reproduction. The hall can accommodate a considerable number of visitors – 360 people.
So far, trial screenings have only attracted a few dozen film buffs. While the audience at the video hall on Lobanka Street primarily consists of young people under 20, cinema at the district culture centre has also attracted families.
