A Chinese IT floor will appear in the Vitebsk technopark. An agreement on this was reached during the visit of a delegation from the Chinese company Beijing Zhaongbai Business Management Co.Ltd to the Vitebsk region.
The first steps towards closer cooperation between the two sides were taken in the autumn of last year during the visit of the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, to Shanghai, where the China International Import Expo was held, showcasing the export potential of our region. In December, an agreement on the creation of the Vitebsk Region Industry Park in the Celestial Empire was signed in Vitebsk. As the head of the region noted at the time, the parties aim not only to develop trade and economic relations but also to implement joint projects in high technology, science, and culture, both in China and in our region.
The current visit of the Chinese delegation is the next step in promoting the global project. In particular, the management of Beijing Zhaongbai Business Management Co.Ltd signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Vitebsk technopark "Law and Order". As its director Mikhail Keyzerov explained, the agreement envisages strategic partnership in the field of IT technologies, and the creation of innovative, science-intensive small and medium-sized enterprises.
– The Belarusian side will provide a floor in the technopark building for Chinese IT companies, as well as the most favorable regime. A complete package of documents for the registration of the company "Bel Zhong Bai", which will promote joint projects, is planned to be collected by March 1. Beijing Zhaongbai Business Management Co.Ltd is a major operator of the Shanghai development zone, and the company has many projects and innovations. We have qualified IT personnel ready to perform work of any complexity. The project involves employment for our programmers, investment, and the development of the technopark. In addition, the Chinese can provide us with new technologies. We also agreed on exchange visits, training of specialists, forums, and other joint events, – said Mikhail Keyzerov.
Mr. Lei Ma, head of the Chinese delegation and General Director of Beijing Zhaongbai Business Management Co.Ltd, noted that this is his third visit to Vitebsk and he has been able to appreciate the great potential for cooperation, primarily in the field of the digital economy. In the first stage, investments in the project will amount to about 2 million dollars.
