Traditionally, on the International Day of Music, fans of classical music are invited to the season opening with the symphony orchestra conducted by Vladimir Belyavsky. Listeners will be swept away by the brilliant "Polonaise" and "Waltz" from Pyotr Tchaikovsky's opera "Eugene Onegin". In the "Russian Dance" from the legendary "Swan Lake", the soul will be bared by the violin of the Philharmonic's symphony orchestra soloist, Vladislav Mitsenko.

The best voices of Vitebsk – Oksana Novikova, Sergey Belousov, and Elena Grakova – have prepared a new programme with the orchestra. Solo and duet numbers from the musical performances of Franz Lehár and Imre Kálmán will be featured in the light genre of Viennese operetta. The programme will also delight with Ninon's couplets ("Carambolina") from "The Violet of Montmartre", the aria and duet of Sylva and Edwin from Kálmán's "The Csárdás Princess", Lehár's "Giuditta Song", and a number of other popular works.

Overall, the Philharmonic's October schedule includes 10 programmes. These include a musical for children, a jazz music concert, a vocal evening for Mother's Day, an organ music concert, and much more.
