The trend of rejuvenating leadership personnel will be continued in Belarus. This was stated on the air of the STV channel by the Head of the Presidential Administration, Natalya Kochanova, according to BELTA. Natalya Kochanova noted that personnel issues are fundamental, and appropriate reserves have been formed in the country. "We have the Academy of Management under the President, where the programs have been revised. In addition, we have personnel reserves, the head of state's personnel register, which is constantly updated. Furthermore, we have a special reserve, which includes those young people who have already chosen this path for themselves – public service. There are more than 70 of them, and some have already been appointed to rather high positions in our country," said the Head of Administration. She added that she recently met at the Academy of Management with a group of heads of district and city executive committees who were appointed in 2018-2019. And these are mainly relatively young people. Thus, the trend of personnel rejuvenation will be continued, Natalya Kochanova emphasized. The Head of Administration also noted the need for personnel rotation. "Changing places and positions is the right thing to do. In order to work effectively in a sufficiently high position, one must go through all the stages," she said. Answering the question why, according to Belstat, the share of women in public administration exceeds 55%, Natalya Kochanova said that women are characterized by greater diligence and are more meticulous. At the same time, the number of women among managers is growing. "This is a natural process. Women no longer want to sit at home and just do household chores; they want to work – and work where they like it," noted the Head of Administration. "Today, look, in the Gomel region, 4 women are already working as heads of districts. And how many women are engaged in science, serve in the Armed Forces, work in law enforcement agencies. Therefore, I will say that women are actively advancing to positions that recently belonged to men."
