What weapon is considered cased? When are hunting dogs considered to be working on wild game? Thus, according to clause 4 of the Rules for Hunting Management and Hunting:
A weapon is considered unloaded if:
the cartridge is not in the chamber of the firearm barrel and (or) in the magazine (clip) attached to the weapon;
the arrow is not attached to the bowstring of a bow or crossbow;
the string tension mechanism and (or) the trigger mechanism of the crossbow are not cocked.
A weapon is recognised as cased if it is in closed (fastened, tied) covers or cases.
Dogs or hunting birds are recognised as working on wild game if they are pursuing or have caught wild game.
Hunting is the search, tracking, pursuit, attempted taking or taking of a game animal living in the wild, as well as the presence of a person in hunting grounds and other habitats of a game animal with hunting implements, except for cases provided for by the rules, or the attempted taking or taking of wild game and (or) birds that are not game, using hunting implements and methods.
