"The play "Butterfly... Butterfly..." has been staged many times in Belarusian and Russian theatres, adorning the repertoire of the best actresses. Our production is timed to coincide with the anniversary of Honoured Artist of Belarus Tamara Skvortsova. Valery Anisenko, Artistic Director of the Kolas Theatre, Honoured Artist of Belarus, and State Prize laureate, is working on the production as director," the theatre noted. The play about the role of a wife, a mother, and human loneliness will be performed in the theatre lounge (formerly the chamber stage).
Tamara Skvortsova will play Edda – a not-young, already lonely socialite who flitted easily through life, and now lives in a world of her own fantasies. But one day, an event occurs that will force the woman to remember her entire past.
