They say that five minutes of laughter can prolong life by an hour. If this is true, then those who attended the district KVN festival among school teams have increased their lifespan by at least a day. On this day, jokes rained down from the stage without interruption, and the hall was filled with explosions of laughter and loud applause.

Opening the game, the host, Irina Khalimonenko, an organiser-teacher at the state institution of additional education "Lepel District Centre for Children and Youth," welcomed the participants, wishing the teams successful matches and competitive spirit, the fans – active support, and the jury members – fair judging.

For the festival, the participating teams prepared only a "business card" performance, with a duration of up to five minutes. It was announced in advance that points would be deducted for exceeding the time limit. The winner of the district stage of the KVN competition among school teams will participate in the regional stage representing our district.

As a result, not three, but four teams became the recipients of the highest scores. The jury found it difficult to choose a single leader, so first place was shared between the teams "Utomlennye Shkoloy" (Borovskaya Secondary School, Lepel District) and "ChKM" (Secondary School No. 1). The students from Borovka can serve as an example. They constantly break records. This school KVN team has more than once become a leader in humorous competitions, has represented our district at the regional contest, and has shown good results there. The students of Secondary School No. 1 were not lagging behind the consistent leaders. Everyone present in the hall laughed uncontrollably at their jokes.

Second place was taken by the team "Sem' lapok pauka" (Gymnasium named after I. M. Erashov), and third place by the participants from "Brigantina" (Polsvizhskaya Basic School, Lepel District).

It is no secret that the success of a celebration is judged by how memorable it is. And the KVN festival is no exception. For a long time afterwards, people recalled the jokes and shared them with their relatives.

The audience offered words of gratitude to all the teams. After all, on this day they received a lot of positive emotions – and this is the main thing. We wish the participants new successes in their creative pursuits and studies, so that they continue to delight us with their new jokes in the future.
